I am a Graduate of Archaeology and unusually for this subject area I have focused more on the science than the art, and as a result I have a BSc (Hons) in Archaeological Sciences and a MSc in Archaeological Materials. I have particular interests in non-destructive analytical spectroscopy, microscopy and microanalysis. I have specific interests in the techniques of scanning electron microscopy, x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. I also have an interest in radio communications, personal computers and firearms. I hold a section 1 firearm certificate (UK), and have a number of rifles and pistols. My favorite cartridges are .30-06 Springfield, .44 Magnum, .375 H&H Magnum and the humble .22 Long Rifle. I have worked with personal computers for a number of years, and as a result I have extensive knowledge of both PC hardware and software, as well as peripheral devices. I am currently working as an analytical chemist for a growing international company based in Cheshire, United Kingdom.

There may be others but I can't think of them right now!

[edit] Here are some of the articles that I have created

Both of these articles I wrote as an anonymous Wikipedian. After writing, submitting and further editing I decided pictures would be nice, which was when I discovered that pictures can only be uploaded by registered Wikipedians. One thing led to another and this is the result. I monitor and update both of these articles whenever I come across new information on the subject.

After browsing the list of rifle cartridges I noticed that the .375 H&H did not have an article written. As this is my favorite magnum rifle cartridges I decided more people should know about it. I have also made a few edits and additions, and will continue to do so whenever I find more interesting information.

And another rifle cartridge article, I thought the .35 Whelen article needed expanding, this is a great medium bore cartridge, and a couple of lines does not do it justice.

I have also done quite a few linking and typo edits whilst browsing articles.
