Talk:Alcuin College
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I do believe that Alcuin separatism may be traced back at least to 1985, when P&P Secretary to the JCRC, Rahul Sarnaik, produced a widely circulated cartoon shewing the old nucleus buiding as a crenelated castle with Vikings manning the battlements - the drawbridge was the Alcuin-Langwith bridge (the bridge from which the scissors are photographed - see pic.)
