Alchemy Boulders Private Ltd is the only quartz processing industry in Sri Lanka, and was established in 1996. ABPL has been in the business of mining and processing minerals. Headquarterd in Kandy, Sri Lanka (with branch offices in Singapore, South Korea and Japan), Alchemy is strategically positioned to extract and distribute this valuable resource.
The quartz mines owned by Alchemy, contains a uniform deposit that is devoid of interbands thus facilitating the extractions of quartz of very high purity. In addition, Alchemy Boulders owns majority of the mines in different locations throughout Sri Lanka which enables the extraction of quartz, consisting of varied chemical balances in each mine and tailoring to customer specification. The Chairman/CEO of Alchemy Boulders, M. Zuhuree Rauf, is credited for his leadership during the company's impressive growth as a progressive and dynamic player in the worldwide industry, since the dawn of the new millennium.
The company exports over 6000 tonnes of processed quartz to global markets such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other markets.
The firm has recently announced plans to diverse into new markets in Europe and USA, after its proven success in the Asian markets over the years.
