Hello Alberto Orlandini and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Follow the Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!
I'm not quite sure--you might try eliminating the heading over the introduction, if there is one. You should probably ask at Wikipedia:Help desk (you might want to include which article you're working on there). Thanks, [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 22:44, 2004 Sep 2 (UTC)

[edit] vibrating string
Hello,
I uploaded your v.s. illustration to commons, while converting it to PNG and optimising. We'll use it in the hungarian article too. The original gonna be deleted.
Just FYI.
thanks! --grin ✎ 14:20, 2005 Feb 13 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging
Thanks for uploading Image:GraphSignal01.gif. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Until a more informative tag is provided, it will be listed as {{unverified}}. Could you add a better tag to let us know its copyright status? If you made the image yourself, an easy way to deal with this is add {{gfdl}} if you're willing to release it under the GFDL. Alternatively, you could release it into the public domain instead, by adding {{PD-self}}. However, if it isn't your own image, you need to specify what free license it was distributed under. You can find a list of the tags here. If it was not distributed under a free license, but you claim fair use, add {{fairuse}}. If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images by posting to my talk page. If you do this, I can tag them for you. [edit] Image Tagging Image:Milman ex01.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Milman ex01.gif. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag, so its copyright status is therefore unclear. Please add a tag to let us know its copyright status. (If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know on the image description page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Otherwise, see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. Thanks so much. --Shanel 20:17, September 11, 2005 (UTC)
