Alberto Saavedra Muñoz (born October 29, 1981) is a Spanish footballer who plays for UD Vecindario in Segunda División B. He is a defender who plays as a centre back.
Saavedra's career began when he signed a professional contract with Real Oviedo, making his first first-team appearance in 2002, at the age of 21. The year after he moved to CD Numancia where he didn't play a single match before moving to The Netherlands. He signed a deal with Eredivisie participants ADO Den Haag where he became a first team regular.
