Alberto Martín-Artajo

Alberto Martín-Artajo (Álvarez) (Madrid, 1905 - 1979) was a Spanish politician. After studying with the jesuit at de Chamartín, he earned a law license from the University of Madrid. He was a lawyer for the State Council (Consejo de Estado) in 1930.

During the Republic, Martín-Artaj closely collaborated with Angel Herrera Oria, director of the Catholic newspaper "El Debate", and he was a member of the public relations of the National Catholic Association. At the start of the civil war, Martín-Artajo went to the insurgent zone.
