Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez (b. Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, November 15, 1946-) is a Mexican politician. Founder and Senator of the Labor Party that supports the Alliance for the Good of All. Only member of the Labor Party that has remained in the direction of his party from its foundation.

He has been federal deputy, senator and coordinator of its parliamentary group in diverse occasions.

He studied Economics at the UNAM, and was classmates with Manuel Camacho Solís, Carlos Salinas, Raul Salinas de Gortari and other political figures like Emilio Lozoya, Jose Francisco Ruiz Massieu, Hugo Andrés Araujo at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Later, in 1990, he founded the PT with support of Raul Salinas brother of Carlos Salinas to avoid that the PRD grew its influence and power. Alghouth it has recently allied with. The PT has most of ints political power in the northern home state of Anaya, Nuevo León. And even there has limited minority representation. Anaya has strong marxist communist background having lead a social movement called "Tierra y Libertad" in the 80's. Governor Alfonso Martinez Domingues, considered a hardliner PRI "dinosaur" jailed Anaya during his 6 year mandate in Nuevo León in the 80's.

When liberated he commenced his strive to form his political party after having been closedly linked to other communist and social party's that failed to sustain their license due to lack of significant representation.
