Albertane Tour

The Albertane Tour was the American teenage pop rock band Hanson's first major concert tour. Albertane took off in 1998 after Hanson's album, Middle of Nowhere, became a huge hit the previous year. The three Hanson brothers traveled across the globe catering to thousands of fans at every venue, playing concerts in such traditional places at Carnegie Hall, the Beacon Theater, and then throughout arenas and even stadiums in the U.S., targeting young audiences with their playful and energetic theme.
The tour was named after a fictional place (the capital of Mars) referred to in their closing song "Man From Milwaukee". Most of the show's set list consisted of Middle of Nowhere material, but 1960s R&B/rock classics such as "Money (That's What I Want)", "Gimme Some Lovin'", and "Summertime Blues" were featured as well.
Opening band for the Albertane tour was Admiral Twin, also from Hanson's home town, Tulsa, OK.
The Live From Albertane album was released the following fall to capture performances on the tour. The documentary film The Road to Albertane was also made to record the touring experience for the three Hanson brothers.
