Highway 17 is a short highway which begins at Onion Lake on the boundary between the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan where it proceeds south and crosses the North Saskatchewan River, then crosses Alberta Highway 45 (Saskatchewan Highway 3) before entering Lloydminster at Alberta Highway 16. It continues south crossing Alberta Highway 619 and Alberta Highway 14. At the Dillberry Lake Provincial Park it crosses into Saskatchewan and ends at Saskatchewan Highway 14 (which is a continuation of Alberta Highway 13) near Macklin, Saskatchewan.
