Albert Neuberger

Albert Neuberger CBE FRS FRCP (15 April 1908-14 August 1996) was Professor of Chemical Pathology, St Mary's Hospital, University of London, 1955-1973, then Emeritus Professor.

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1951, and awarded a CBE in 1964. He was also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal Chemical Society.

He was the father of Prof. James Neuberger, David Neuberger, Baron Neuberger of Abbotsbury, Prof. Anthony Neuberger, and Prof. Michael Neuberger, and the father-in-law of Rabbi Julia Neuberger. He was also the brother of Rabbi Herman Neuberger.
