Albert Merriman Smith

Albert Merriman Smith, (born 10 February 1913 in Savannah, Georgia, died 13 April 1970 in Washington, D.C.), was a newspaper reporter who won the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Merriman Smith is the person who first used the term "Grassy Knoll," in the John F. Kennedy assassination. Pages documenting this are held by Gary Mack, Curator of The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.
