Albert Gallatin Edwards

Albert Gallatin Edwards (1812 - 1892) was an assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury under President of the United States Abraham Lincoln. In 1887 he founded the brokerage firm that today bears his name, A. G. Edwards, in Saint Louis, Missouri. His father was Illinois Governor, Ninian Edwards [1]
