From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Alberbury Castle is in the village of Alberbury, some nine miles north-west of Shrewsbury, Shropshire and very close to the border with Wales (grid reference SJ358144). It is a Grade II listed building.[1]
Its origins are uncertain but it was probably built in the 13th century[2] by Fulke Fitz Warine.[3] Only the ruined tower remains.[4]
