Albany High School is located in Albany, Louisiana, United States.
Albany High School is a part of the Livingston Parish Public Schools system and serves grades 9 through 12.
Its mascot is the Hornet. The school colors are Maroon and White. The school has 531 students (Fall 2006). The principal is Bruce Chaffin. The assistant principal is Kenny Kraft. The school day here goes from about 7:20 A.M. to 2:20 P.M. The School is most commonly known for its girls basketball team which has won five state chmpionships.

Albany High School, like all schools in the Livingston Parish Public Schools, has mandatory school uniforms.
Students are required to wear polo shirts or oxford shirts that are colored white or navy blue. Students are required to wear khaki bottoms. Students are also required to tuck in shirts and wear a brown or black belt. Students are also required to wear an ID. If student loses the ID, he/she must pay $5 to purchase a new one.
