Albanella is a town and comune in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of south-western Italy. It is located 51 kilometers from the city of Salerno.

The Church of Saint Sophia (La Chiesa di Santa Sofia) was built in the year 1500. The town slogan is "la terra degli ulivi," which translates to "the land of the olive trees" in English. Olive oil is one of the principal products of the town.
