Alan claims to be the first member of the news media to report the 9/11 attacks on the Pentagon. He was on his way to work and on the phone with a congressman when he witnessed the plane crash. He called in to the Doug Stephan "Good Day" show and reported live on the air from the side of the road. I dont know if this is worthy of being put on the main article page. -RA
