Alas, I Cannot Swim is the debut album of British singer-songwriter Laura Marling. It was initially released on 4 February 2008 as part of "The Song Box" package. In addition to the album itself, this included mementos relating to each track on the album, and a ticket to see her perform at one of various venues across the UK. The album was conventionally released a week later on 11 February 2008. It was produced by Charlie Fink[1], front-man of indie band Noah and the Whale.
