[edit] Synopsis
After witnessing the violent death of her boyfriend, Jairo (Manuel José Chavez), video director and TV producer Vega (Noëlle Schonwald) develops a serious anxiety disorder named Agoraphobia. It forces her to avoid all human contact except for her father, and she goes on a "forced vacation" in an attempt to get over her problems.
Vega moves to an apartment placed in an old building, but strange things start to happen, forcing Vega to put cameras all over her apartment and in the outer hallway.
Slightly aware of Vega's behavior, her neighbors develop a hostile attitude towards her, making Vega ask herself if they have something to do with all the weirds things happening in her apartment, such as things moving by themselves, or images of a ghostly woman recorded on her security tapes.
Vega does some research and finds out that a woman died in that apartment years ago, and suspects it is the reason why supernatural events keep occurring. She begins to have strange flashbacks, and horrifying visions. The dead woman begins haunting her, showing up while Vega is sleeping, and while she is taking a bath.
After further research, Vega finds out that the name of the woman who died was Victoria, of pancreatic cancer. Her death certificate was signed by a man named Vega.
Vega begins finding many holes in the apartment, and finds out that her neighbor did it to "protect" her. Angry, she tells the neighbor to never come back, and that she would contact the police if she did.
All the neighbors come at night, telling Vega that they were sent by Jaiver to check on her. Vega keeps the door locked, and keeps herself inside. Convinced that the dead woman is behind everything, she starts to analyze all the clues thus far. She attempts to provoke another encounter with the dead woman, but instead the neighbor girl comes. Vega is attacked by her, and eventually stabbed in the bathtub. She manages to knock the girl out, and crawls into the bedroom. Realizing that she herself was the "dead woman," and that all previous encounters were premonitions, Vega attempts to escape before the girl can come to. Before the reaches the door, however, the girl walks into the hallway, saying that she wants to murder Vega as practice before murdering her mother. However, the girl falls, apparently stabbed by scissors in the prior attack.
Vega walks out of the building, hurt, but wanting to visit the hospital, to see Javier.
[edit] Set
The apartment where Vega lived was originally an abandoned gym. The darkness of the place is similar to that of old apartments in downtown Bogotá.
