Al Shaheen oil field

Al Shaheen oil field lies to the north east of Qatar near the border with Iran in the Persian Gulf. The Knock Nevis is moored there as an FSO. This was the largest oil tanker in its day.

The oil field lies over the North Gas Field, the largest gas field in the world.
