Al Scaduto

Al Scaduto (July 12, 1928 – December 8, 2007) was a comic strip cartoonist. He was born in Bronx, New York.[1] He worked on such strips as They'll Do It Every Time and Little Iodine. In 1979, he and Bob Dunn received the National Cartoonist Society Newspaper Panel Cartoon Award for the strip. After Dunn's death in 1989, Scaduto took over both the art and the writing for the comic. In 1991, he was also honored with the same award[2]. Before his death, Scaduto lived with his daughter in Connecticut.

Scaduto died on December 8, 2007 after a short-term illness in Sleepy Hollow, New York. He was survived by his two daughters and three grandchildren.[3][4]
