Al Nahyan family

Al Nahyan is the ruling family of Abu Dhabi. Al Nahyan is a branch of the House of Al-Falahi, a branch of the Bani Yas tribe, and are related to the House of Al-Falasi, of which the ruling family of Dubai, Al Maktoum, descends from. Famous Al Nahyans are Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of the United Arab Emirates, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, present President of the United Arab Emirates.
