Al Khalis

Al Khalis, Khalis or Al Khales is Village roughly 15 kilometers (9 mi) North of Baqubah and one of the six districts of the Diyala Governorate Its main population center is the Village of the same name.
it has a large presence of Mahdi Army Militias.
