Al Johnson (politician)

Al Johnson (26 November 1939 in Montreal Quebec) was a Progressive Conservative party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He became a professor, geologist and manager by career.

He represented the Alberta riding of Calgary North which he won in the 1988 federal election. He served one term in the 34th Canadian Parliament after which he was defeated by Diane Ablonczy of the Reform party in the 1993 election.
