Sheikha Al Jalila bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai born December 2, 2007 is the daughter of Princess Haya bint Al Hussein of Jordan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Prime Minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai. Her birth coincides with the UAE's 36th celebration of National Day. She is the 18th child and currently the youngest of Sheikh Mohammed's children. She's a niece of King Abdullah II of Jordan and granddaughter of King Hussein of Jordan. Jalila also shares her name with her cousin Princess Jalilah daughter of Haya's brother Prince Ali even though she has the added H they are pronounced the same. The Al at the beginning of her name is not traditionally said as a first name in middle eastern names as this word translated means the, so instead of people calling her Al Jalila they will call her Jalila.
