Al Jaddaf (Arabic: الجداف), also spelled Al Jadaf, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai in Bur Dubai, Al Jaddaf is bordered to the north by Al Garhoud, to the south by the Dubai Creek and to the west by Zabeel. Historically, Al Jaddaf, which literally means The Rower (a reference to the Dubai Creek it borders) was primarily an industrial area that also housed a variety of sport grounds and facilities.
The Dubai Municipality is currently developing Dubai Cultural Village, a zoned community dedicated to visual, performing and literary arts, in Al Jaddaf.
