Al Connelly (born Alan John Connelly, 2 October 1960, Montreal, Canada) is the founding guitarist with the Canadian rock band, Glass Tiger. Born to Edward and Dorothy Connelly, Al Connelly calls Newmarket, Ontario his home. He and his band were honoured with five Canadian Music Industry Juno Awards, two Canadian Classic Awards and were nominated for a Grammy Award[citation needed]. He has released solo recordings as well.
He has acquired Studio Engineering Tech Diplomas both through Seneca College and Humber College in Toronto. In addition to songwriting, Al also has spent many years working with Behavioural, Autistic and Developmentally Challenged youth.
