Al Burt was a writer for 40 years with The Miami Herald. He reported from Washington to Latin America and the Caribbean and throughout Florida. Before working with the Miami Herald he had positions with the Atlanta Journal & the Jacksonville Journal. It should be noted he attended the University of Florida.[1]
