Al Bandiero (born April 27, 1953) is an American award-winning film and television actor, known for playing Peter Evans in the tv series Desire.

Bandiero was born in Brooklyn, New York; the son of Joseph and Genevieve Bandiero. He has 2 sisters and 1 brother. His father, Joseph Bandiero, is of Italian descent, and his mother, Genevieve Bandiero, is of Italian descent as well. Bandiero almost had a career in baseball as he was scouted by the St. Louis Cardinals when he was young.

Bandiero started his acting career in 1985, firstly appearing in the film Rocky IV playing the 'American Commentator #2'. After making his move to Los Angeles, he began to work extensively in Film and TV. He has appeared in the TV film Scene of the Crime, "I Am Stamos" (short film that was submitted to various Film Festivals and starring John Stamos) and The Confession (a short film starring Prison Breaks Wentworth Miller). He has appeared on television in Dragnet and The Practice. His major television role was in Desire for the Fox owned MyNetwork TV, taking on the role of Peter Evans, appearing in 65 episodes in total. He still appears in movies.
One of the hottest and most respected radio personalities in the country, Al dominated the airwaves in NYC for many years. His NYC radio jobs include, the new and old KTU, Hot 97, Jammin 105, WPLJ and 99X. He has also hosted several nationally syndicated radio shows, which have resulted in a substantial fan base throughout the country and the world.
