[edit] IQ
I was unable to find any source for his exact IQ. The GDC (Gifted Development Centre) - widely credited for measuring it does not mention Akrit on their website. So the following needs to be verified
- his exact IQ
- whether it is indeed higher than Einstein
- whether it is the highest among his age in the world

- It seems to me that his IQ should be greater than 146. 146 is great but it seems that his could be higher. I think it is important to reference which type of IQ scale was used. It's not enough to just say someone's IQ is xxx. --Jagz 17:34, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Isn't IQ adjusted by age? If so, 146 is nowhere near the highest in the world. In any case, I have removed the claim that it is the highest recorded because none of the sources seem to support that. Nath 01:13, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
You can watch the TV special on YouTube. From what I saw, his IQ was 146 Wechsler, which is equivalent to about 149 Stanford-Binet. (there's a converter on the "Estimate IQs of the Greatest Geniuses" page) People estimated that Einstein's IQ was about 160, and Akrit's wouldn't nearly be among the highest in the world. It's above genius range, though, it's at a rarity of about 1 in 900 people, and it puts him about dead-even with Orson Welles. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.109.47.235 (talk • contribs).
I just saw a documentary called "World's Smartest Boy" [1] about Jaswal. In this documentary they performed another IQ-test at Imperial College, London. I wasn't paying much attention, but as I remember it, Jaswal scored high on verbal test but slightly below average for his age on some logical/spatial test. After the test, his mother commented something about that IQ isn't everything. Libido 00:13, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] more IQ stuff
Alright, here is what I learned about IQ. Divide IQ by one hundred and multiply by your age. This is the intellectual ability (this means knowledge, experience, deductive/inductive reasoning, many things) of an average person at that age. Einstein I don't think ever got tested, but his IQ is most certainly over 200. Also, many American IQ tests have a minimum age of 16 for IQ tests. I have no doubt that Team Focus' single test in English (not Akrit's native language) contains only a fraction of evidentiary fact. Akrit has at least an IQ of 180.--ProdigySportsman (talk) 21:53, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
