Akogrimo is a distributed computing project co-funded under the European Commission's Information Society Technology (IST) initiative's 6th framework programme (FP6). Akogrimo is an acronym that stands for "Access to KnOwledge through the GRId in a MObile World" The project runs from July 2004 until October 2007. The project team comprises 16 European organisations.
