[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, Akmireku@myway.com, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  Lumos3 18:04, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Berenstain Bears

Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Berenstain Bears. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.  G.He 18:59, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Protection templates

Please don't add page protection templates – {{semi-protected}} or {{protected}} – to articles, unless the articles have actually been protected from editing. (Only an admin can protect a page.) If you would like to request that a page be protected, please visit Wikipedia:Requests for page protection (shortcut link WP:RFPP).

As an aside, it's also not appropriate to add speedy deletion notices to other users' pages [1]. You may be blocked from editing if you continue. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 13:33, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Once again, please don't add protection notices to articles. If you'd like to draft an article in a sheltered place before adding it to the main encyclopedia, create a subpage or sandbox in your user space. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 14:54, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Dear Akmireku@myway.com,

Welcome to Wikipedia!

Unfortunately, using your e-mail address as your username is not a good idea. Wikipedia content is extensively copied and the site itself is one of the most visited sites in the world. Any edit you make on Wikipedia will have your username attached to it, and using your email address will make you a tempting target for spammers. We recommend that you change your username at Wikipedia:Changing username in order to prevent abuse.

If you need any help, simply contact me on my talk page, or go to Wikipedia:Help desk. Another option is to place {{helpme}} on your own talk page, and someone will come shortly to help. Remember to sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). Again, welcome! - (aeropagitica) at 22:08, Monday June 9, 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Requests for adminship

Hello and thank you for your recent edit, above. Before you decide to reapply for the position of administrator on the English Wikipedia, please read Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship, Wikipedia:Administrators' how-to guide and Wikipedia:Administrators' reading list. You will find that the acceptance criteria for the position of admin are quite high and the editors who contribute ask very rigorous questions. They also do not look kindly on vandals or those who edit in ignorance of established processes. Please take this message as a friendly reminder to consider your actions before editing in future. The above edit can be construed as vandalism, which can lead to you being blocked from editing for a period of time. Regards, (aeropagitica) 19:24, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked for being a block-evading sockpuppet of User:Kyereh Mireku

Blocked as a sockpuppet

You have been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet of a banned or blocked user . As a blocked or banned user you are not entitled to edit Wikipedia. All your edits have been reverted.
If you believe this block to be unjustified, you can contest it by adding {{unblock|reason}} on this page, replacing reason with an explanation of why you think this is an unjust block. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "WP:SOCK of User:Kyereh Mireku - avoiding block. Akmireku@myway.com 11:49, 27 October 2006 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "Please provide a reason for unblocking at User talk:Kyereh Mireku. --  Netsnipe  ►  14:49, 27 October 2006 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

I removed the duplicate template - only one is sufficient. Daniel.Bryant 12:01, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
