[edit] Notability
I realized that it's somewhat hard to assert the notability of this subject, but he was head of the Petah Tikva council for over a year during the Ottoman period, which makes him notable, as head of a municipality. Especially considering it's one as important as Petah Tikva. Moreover, I believe Librecht also founded some major Hebrew companies in the land of Israel, although from the lone online reference I could find, it's too difficult to understand whether they're indeed the companies I think they are. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 22:44, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Quick googling in Hebrew עקיבא ליברכט shows that he is definitely a notable person in the history of Israel. Changed tag to refimprove. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 21:23, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
