[edit] Requested move

Akio OtsukaAkio OhtsukaRationale: Needs to be moved to official trade name, per WP:MOS-JA --EmperorBrandon 19:28, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Moved. —Nightstallion (?) 09:24, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move II

The result of the proposal was no consensus to move the page, per the discussion below. It's not my favorite rule, but since you cite the Japanese MOS, please note that per this section trade names are preferred to the macronned forms. Dekimasuよ! 04:03, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

"Akio Ohtsuka" is the only search tag that brings up his profile on Mausu Promotion. For instance, using a Google site search:
Also, it would be consistent with the current entry for his father, Chikao Ohtsuka, who also has the same official romanization for his family name. --EmperorBrandon 19:43, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Support I support the move to Akio Ōtsuka, if that is in fact the correct way of transcribing the name. Akio Ohtsuka will of course still be around as a redirection page, so this nameform will also be easily searchable. -*Ulla* 02:59, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
