Akin Akingbala

Akinlolu Akinayi Akingbala (born 25 March 1983 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian basketball player currently plays for BK Ventspils of the Latvian LBL. Akingbala comes to the U.S. to play basketball and attended college after playing soccer in the same city where former Houston Rockets star Hakeem Olajuwon was raised.

In October 2006, he played two preseason games with the Boston Celtics.
