Akiko Santo

Akiko Santo (山東 昭子? born 1942) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Tokyo and graduate of Bunka Gakuin, she was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 1974 after working as an actress and reporter.
