Akihiko Noro

Akihiko Noro (野呂 昭彦? born 1946) is the governor of Mie Prefecture in Japan. A native of Iitaka, Mie, he attended Keio University for undergraduate study and received a master's degree from it. Before elected governor, he had served in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) for four terms since 1983 and as mayor of Matsusaka, Mie for one term since 2000.
