Akiōta, Hiroshima

Akiōta (安芸太田町 Akiōta-chō?) is a town located in Yamagata District, Hiroshima, Japan.
The town was formed on October 1, 2004 from the merger of Kake, Togouchi, and Tsutsuga.
As of April 1, 2004 population data, the town has an estimated population of 8,959 and a density of 26.2 persons per km². The total area is 342.25 km².
