[edit] Protection
The reason is that the page is either semi-protected, or fully protected. If the former, then new or unregistered editors cannot change the page. If the latter, then only admins can edit the page. Have a read of this page which outlines the policy on protection. GBT/C 21:02, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Apology
Thank you for your apology, I am glad you now understand that Wikipedia is not the place to vent anger at the school administration. Given your recent actions however you do put me in a bit of a difficult position - will you really edit constructively if unblocked? I should really block sock puppet accounts to evade blocks, such as this one, on sight, but I have decided to give some grace for now. I semi-protected both Piedmont, California and Piedmont High School (California) for two weeks to end a wave of unregistered users adding WP:NPOV violating material to the article. I think it would be better for the moment if you do not edit these articles - given recent events. Please contact Mike Rosoft (talk • contribs • blocks • protects • deletions • moves) if you want your main account unblocked, as he was actually the admin who blocked you, and I cannot just decide to overturn his block. It is not possible to delete accounts, but if your main account is unblocked - please stick to it and not use other accounts (this includes logging out and editing as a unregistered user). Review WP:SOCK for more information. Camaron | Chris (talk) 10:26, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Actually, instead I have unprotected User talk:Akhamenehpour so you can appeal your block using your old account. You are not entitled to edit Wikipedia while block, so I am blocking this account per policy. Note that you can still e-mail either me or Mike by going to our user/user talk page and clicking the button in the "toolbox" on the left sidebar. Camaron | Chris (talk) 10:41, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
