Akbarpura or Akbarpūra, is a village near the city of Peshawar in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan. It is located at 34° 3' 25" North, 71° 43' 18" East[1]
Akbarpura is one of the oldest villages of NWFP. Akbarpura is named after the great Mughal King "Akbar the Great who camped here before going to Afghanistan.
