Akbar Misaghian (Persian: اکبر میثاقیان, born May 21, 1953 in Gonbad-e Kavus, Iran) is is a retired Iranian football player. After retirement he managed several clubs most notably F.C. Aboomoslem.

He started his playing career in 1971 when he played for Bootan Tehran F.C. while working for Bootan Gas Company. He then moved to Mashhad and played for F.C. Aboomoslem. In 1976 he left Mashhad for Bandar Anzali to play for Malavan F.C. for two seasons. Then he played for Esteghlal F.C. for 3 seasons and finally in 1982 he returned to Mashhad and started playing for F.C. Aboomoslem once again.

In 1973 Misaghian was called up to the Iran national football team selection camp, however failed to impress enough to maintain a place in the squad.
