Ajodhya Hill (Bengali: , Hindi: )Range is located in the District of Purulia, W.B. India. Everybody has heard about Darjilling (A hill station) but a few have heard about this Hill Range. Ajodhya Hill Range is the only hill station of West bengal after Darjilling. It's a beautiful place. It's altitude is about 700m ASL.

It's an ideal place for Young mountaineers to learn the basic course in rock climbing. There are two routs available to reah Ajodhya One Via Jhalda and one via Sirkabad.There are several rooms in the Forest Rest House. Gorgabunu (900 m), Mayuri etc. are of the pickest hills of the region.

According to the people of the Ajodhy they say that the Purushottam RamChandra and his wife Sita mata had arrived to this place and resided. One day Sita was feeling thirsty and Ram stabbed an arrow in the earth's crust and within that water spurt out and Sita satisfied her thirst. The place is recognized as Sita-kunda.

The Nearby populated town area is Baghmundih.

Dr B.C. Roy, the second Chief Minister of West Bengal had dreamt of setting up a hilltown on the base of this hill. That dream could never be converted into reality

About 12 Yrs ago Govt. of West Bengal has started a Hydral Electricity Project in the Area.
