Ajige

Ajige (Manchu: ; Chinese: 阿濟格) (1605-1651) was a prince of the Manchu dynasty of ancient China. His mother was Lady Abahai, and his father was Nurhaci, he was their 12th son; he was thus a full-brother of princes Dodo and Dorgon.
In 1644, Ajige was created Prince Ying of the First Rank (Hošoi Sure Cin Wang) (和碩英親王). He was also a general and was involved in the Manchurian conquest of China. However, after the death of his brother Dorgon, Ajige attempted to seize the position of Prince Regent, but was subsequently found out and arrested. He was forced to commit suicide by the Shunzhi Emperor in 1651.
