[edit] Austronesian igos (fig)

From the Diccionario Ingles-Español-Tagalog: Fig, n. [fig]; Higo; Igos. Also see Tagalog wiki: [1] and [2]. According to [3] ò-giô came into Taiwanese through Japanese. Perhaps into Japanese from Portuguese. Hongthay (talk) 11:37, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
