[edit] Removed "Current teachers of the Senior School" section
I have removed the section on Current teachers of the Senior School. Wikipedia does not exist to inform everyone on all the current teachers that exist at a particular school. Also, it is always open to change and also not easily verifiable. Only notable people from that school should be written about for instance, the President or Headteacher.--Waqas1987 (talk) 18:57, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Revamping
The page needs a major facelift.. a section for extra curriculars/sports/facilities etc should be present, as should number of students, subjects offered, and a better history of the evolution of the school itself. might do when there's time.. help would be appreciated!

[edit] Unsupported claims
I have just wikified this page. However I removed the final line (see below) written by Shahkaal:
Aitchison has produced many scholars, politicians, sportsman and business leader through out south Asia making it one of the best high school in Asia.
This claim is unsupported. Matthew kokai 04:17, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Some Aitchison Facts
Anybody who is anybody in Punjab, Pakistan sends his boys to Aitchison - this includes all the lawmakers, all the elite industrialists, all the major entertainers,...in short if you live in Punjab, Pakistan, you WILL send your son/s to Aitchison - if you can afford to do so. Many Aitchison graduates go on to attend American universities like Harvard, MIT, Princeton, UC Berkley,Waterloo(canada), Brown, Dartmouth, and so on.
Aitchison has an alumni association which is called ACOBA (Aitchison College Old Boys' Association). Students at Aitchison are called Aitchisonian.
An alumni of Aitchison is informally called an old boy within the Aitchison community.
[edit] Quantifying the claim
Aitchison along with the Doon School and Mayo of India are like the Eton, Rugby and Harrow of South Asia. Ofcourse this cannot be measured scientifically but like Harvard and Yale or Cambrigde and Oxford it an undiputable fact of popular conception.
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Aitchison-logo.jpg
Image:Aitchison-logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:20, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
