Aitor López Rekarte (born 18 August 1975 in Mondragón, Basque Country) is a Spanish football player who currently plays for UD Almería of the Spanish La Liga. His usual position is defender, playing on the right side, and sporadically on the other flank.
Played a decade for the Basque side of Real Sociedad, with 315 league games with 4 goals.
López Rekarte had one appearance for Spain, in a September 2004 friendly against Scotland in Valencia (1-1).

He is the younger brother of another professional footballer, Luis Maria López Rekarte (born 1962), who played for Deportivo Alavés, R.Sociedad, FC Barcelona and Deportivo La Coruña (1980-96).
