[edit] Speedy deletion of Airdis Telecom

A tag has been placed on Airdis Telecom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. MikeVitale 20:02, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Please reconsider deleting this page. my intention was to simply enter factual information regarding my company and its inception. if i have failed to create this properly please let me know what i can do to more properly conform. it is not my intention to use this for advertising purposes. i have noticed that many of my companies competitors are already listed in wikipedia and if wikipedia is a place to share factual information about companies of all shapes and sizes then the information i entered is relevent. i realize wikipedia is not just about companies, but giving its readers the ablity to find out factual information about a companies history including mergers, acquisitions and licensing makes it an even more powerful tool. i believe i should be able to do this. thanks!

Airdis Telecom has already been deleted so there is no page to 'hang on' to. You can challenge the deletion if you think you can prove the company meets notability requirements for companies, through a deletion review: instructions are given there. However, please read carefully the guidance on editing with a conflict of interest. Although you may try to write as neutrally as possible, it may still not be appropriate to write about any subject in which you have extensive involvement. Sam Blacketer 23:16, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
The advice provided here by Sam Blacketer is valuable. Conflict of interest editing is not forbidden, but can be difficult. If you do decide to recreate the article, please ensure that it meets notability requirements for companies with reliable sources included to verify information. --Moonriddengirl 00:37, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
The advice given by my fellow editors above is wise. Perhaps, if you feel strongly that this company should have its own Wikipedia page, you could create a page specifically for it in your userspace. To do so, just click on that red link right there and start editing. The rules for what pages can exist in Userspace is more lax than for mainspace pages. When the article is to the point where it's sufficient for inclusion in mainspace, perhaps you could ask someone to review it (I would gladly do so, and I'm sure others would as well), and then move it to mainspace. --MikeVitale 00:47, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Airdis Telecom

A tag has been placed on Airdis Telecom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
