[edit] Totally Confusing Article

I'm in the Air Force, have a good understanding of AFSCs and this article confuses me. It's very poorly written. I'm going to try to make it better, but my writing stills aren't too good. Anything would be better than this mess. Kajmal 00:19, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Linking to About.com

I added links to about.com because it's already the most comprehensive source of information on the subject. There is no way to make Wikipedia articles about every AFSC without incorporating text from about.com. It may be possible to have a layman's description of each job, as the descriptions in about.com can be somewhat cryptic. However, this would most likely take firsthand knowledge of the job and would not conform to Wikipedia policies of No Original Research. Kajmal 18:03, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ???

About the example, I understood as far as 1N. I'm lost on the rest of it. Where do those numbers come in?

I was trying to figure out exactly where 1T2X1 would fit, but where does the 2X1 and 371 come from? (I assume 2X is medical, but 371 I'm just lost). Colonel Marksman 18:41, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] EOD

Isn't there and Explosive Ordnance Disposal AFSC? Cody.raab (talk) 19:48, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Google says 3E8X1. --Pmsyyz (talk) 01:27, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
