Airport Circle (Pennsauken)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Airport Circle is a traffic circle in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey, United States. It is located at the intersection of Route 70, Route 38, U.S. Route 30, and U.S. Route 130, close to the Camden border. Built in 1925, it is New Jersey's first traffic circle.[1] South of the circle, Route 30 and Route 130 run concurrent until they reach the Collingswood Circle in Collingswood.
It is named for the former Camden Central Airport, a small airport that operated in this vicinity between 1929 and 1957 [2].
