The Airport station is a light rail station on the MAX Red Line in Portland, Oregon, located at Portland International Airport. It is the fourth (and final) stop north on the Airport MAX extension.
Since opening on September 10, 2001, the station has handled 4.3 million riders. In 2006, it handled over 1 million passengers for the first time.[citation needed]
The station is located outside the airport's baggage claim area, with easy access to check-in and ticketing. The station's platform is a wedge-shaped island platform with both tracks joining just beyond, as the section nearest the terminal is single-tracked.
[edit] Bus line connections

[edit] Unique station features
This station is at the end of one of only two single track sections; the other is on the Red Line approaching Gateway/Northeast 99th Avenue Transit Center
