Established in 1992, Airline Network is one of the UK's leading independent travel companies, and is the consumer brand of Gold Medal Travel which was itself established in 1970. Airline Network has become one of the best known internet travel companies in the UK.

Its main rivals are Expedia and Ebookers.

Airline Network offers a travel affiliate programme, and trades under a number of brand names including Pure Luxury and Get-Packing - a web based travel portal featuring a comprehensive travel guide. It is the UK's leading operator into Dubai.

The company is 100% privately owned and is based in Preston, Lancashire, and employs more than 600 people. Its CEO is Terry Fisher, formerly the MD of Going Places and formerly the Chairman of Huddersfield Town Football Club.
